Tax Money Spent on Anti-Spending Ads

Oh yeah. This is absolutely brilliant.

Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) is running campaign-style Web ads for a “tele-town hall” on “out of control spending” that are financed by taxpayer dollars — and the ads were OKed as permissible under House rules.

Adding… Speaking of contradictions. This morning, albino sleestak Mitch McConnell was blasting the national debt, warning against “government-run healthcare,” AND griping about cuts in Medicare. I couldn’t even begin to diagram how those three opinions conflict with each other. This is the actual leader of the congressional Republicans, folks. And, as Rachel says, he’s not embarrassed.

The disconnect here is ridiculous. I’m often surprised the talking heads’ brains don’t explode.

Someone on NPR this morning interviewed Romney and sat quietly by while he gave the same talking points. She tried to ask if his MA plan wasnt much the same but he brushed her off with the same talking points. He just lied and no one called him on it.
