“I Know He’s An American But Still.” Yeah okay.

For the record, Peter King and John McCain are to the right of Glenn Beck on this one. Beck believes, and rightly so, that Shahzad should be Mirandized.

Just take a minute to digest that. Peter King and John McCain are crazier than Glenn Beck on this issue. And those guys get to influence the writing of laws.

    I just blogged about this myself and I’m truly saddened by it. When did they stop believing in the Constitution? The more I think about it, the more my heart sinks.

    John McCain will say anything that he believes will get him a vote. John McCain’s political career is all John McCain cares about.Didn’t work very well in 2008.This constant attack on the values of our constitution is very disheartening.

    I was shocked by these comments too! Of all people, McCain, who was so principaled against torture to now say ‘don’t bother to mirandize a citizen’ is just too much. He is pandering of course but it’s sad and disgusting to watch.Add to this that the majority of Americans think the AZ immigration law is “ok” and I’m feeling very worried about our constitutional protections surviving.
