Glenn Beck and Toady Defend Bank of America

While playing a tape of protester whose house is being foreclosed upon, Glenn Beck and his soundalike toady shout at the protester to “get a job!”

It’s just that easy, isn’t it? Get a job. Just… go get one. Because there are all kinds of jobs just waiting to be filled right now, right? Glenn, you bastard?

You have no idea what this woman’s circumstances are, Glenn. Maybe she has a job already but became trapped in a balloon loan where the payments begin to reset at much higher levels over time. You have no idea what sorts of coercive techniques were being used to ensnare people in these bad loans. After all, not everyone has a staff of hundreds of disciples vetting every piece of paper that crosses through their inbox (or writing their books for them).

But good job, Glenn — with your $32 million salary, earned by scamming your viewers and listeners into buying your array of carnival trinkets — good job defending Bank of America against an ordinary American citizen who, by the way, might be a Glenn Beck fan. Who knows? The foreclosure crisis doesn’t discriminate between left and right.

And as for Pat Gray, your jive deejay morning zoo toady? I hope it itches. A lot.

I will not be the guy who wishes death upon Beck, however much I feel he may deserve it.Instead, I wish want, desperation, hunger, homelessness, helplessness, and hopelessness upon him and all those who prey upon either the weak or the weak-minded with fabrications and half-truths for material gain. I’m looking at YOU, Palin and Limbaugh. May you all know intimately the suffering you so cavalierly mock and dismiss.

You know who else is a Glenn Beck fan? The guy I shared an office with for a year in the mortgage business. He listened every day, and even took his family up to Salt Lake City to see Teh Glenn Beck live each year AT CHRISTMASTIME. The other 364 days of the year he was busy making around $150k/yr in a town in Utah that saw the cops making $10/hr and the doctors making about $50k-$80k/yr. Here was this fella raking in double a doctor’s salary jamming people into the very loans Bob talks about, by ANY means necessary. All of those loans were closing in Utah, meaning at least 80% of those folks were hardcore right wing republicans, so no, this financial ‘crisis’ is not discriminating – but those racist assholes in Utah were quick to forget how it happened and are even quicker to do some discriminating of their own.I couldn’t get back to SoCal fast enough.

And all that crap about how the protesters are “waiting for their moment”? See Bob’s previous Beck link where he tells his followers to wait for their moment.

Bob – not to quibble with your accuracy, but it’s quite clear that the person Beck was yelling at wasn’t a right-winger or a Glenn Beck fan. Think about it – he was protesting something other than nonexistent tax increases.
