Sarah Palin Is Very, Very Confused

Here she is on Fox News Sunday insisting that the president isn’t doing enough on the oil spill because he’s in the pocket of Big Oil.

Yes, really.

So Sarah Palin, who is the face and shrill voice of “Drill Baby Drill,” is suggesting the president has been bought off by BP. Sarah Palin, who objects to any interference by the president in the free market. Sarah Palin, who says that government interference in private industry is socialism — or worse. And she’s suggesting the president is taking “too doggone long” to interfere with a private industry?

Obviously Sarah Palin disagrees with Rand Paul who said the president is “un-American” for keeping his boot on the throat of BP.

Well, at least when Bill O’Reilly inevitably damages the warp drive’s dilithium crystals they’ll be able to grab her necklace and get the engines back on-line.

    WTF did she just say?

  • roxsteady

This woman is too stupid to breath. I didn’t watch the clip because I can’t stand the sound of her voice but, I read some of the transcript on Huffington Post and she actually said “You know, they are looking for the gotcha moment.” Did she mean like, “What newspapers do you read?”? I remember one of her stupid speeches recently where she mocked the administration for wanting to conduct further studies of drilling. Now, she’s demanding that they….well, I don’t know what the hell she’s demanding. We actually have something in common. What a morong!

Sarah Palin was trying to be clever and hint that this is Obama’s Katrina, but the poor dear got tangled up in all those words and ideas and stuff. Now she’ll probably whine about being asked unfair questions by FOX.Does anyone else think she sounded like an over-rehearsed third-grader reciting her speech for the Thanksgiving Pageant? I actually laughed when she took that big, “okay, get ready, this is it, remember your lines” breath before she started talking.

Sarah Palin forgot what channel she was on. FOX is for big business – always. So her faux populist rant on big oil is not going to work there. And again! Why are people still listening to someone who doesn’t have the balls or the brains to go another news channel?

Oh, Bob. It’s not like hypocrisy ever stopped Sarah before.

Good God, there are no words!!!!!

    She’s stupid. She’s ignorant. She’s dishonest. She’s despicable.She’s a teenager in a MILF’s body.

W…T…F…? Well, this settles the question of “can she really be as retarded as she pretends to be?” No one is so retarded that they can’t remember chanting “Drill, Baby, Drill!” to their willing thralls at every $100,000 speech they give.

See, in Sarah’s universe you can have two opposite realities at the same time. It’s a quantum state that’s ONLY possible when you slam a moron against a factoid.

    Senora Baggadouccio.

  • Lexaburn

Rhetorically, she’s tossing spaghetti at a wall and hoping it’ll stick. This is what the con-servative/Republicon/GOPunk does now: attack any which way you can. Since the press no longer scrutinizes the info it presents, scalawags like Palin can get away with the double-dip logic to which Bob alludes. It’s apparent she’s parroting some Republicon strategists words. A strategist, mind you, who has listened to the rhetoric being bandied about by free-wheeling commentators that have no clue how to manage a crisis, yet have spoken at length about how the president aught to handle a goddamned oil spill. These are not Cons I’m talking about. These are individuals who say they voted for Obama, yet each time a situation such as the one in the gulf occurs, they’re quick to claim he isn’t “doing enough.” They are the reason why Palin is making that statement. The insidious nature of attack line is that it’s already out there, so she’s just “borrowing” shit again. Soon, the FOXes will be saying that Obama has ties to big oil.Oh, what am I saying? They’ve already went there when this catastrophe broke out. They began discussing the fact Obama’s campaign received the most campaign dollars from BP.

  • GOVCHRIS1988

Lexaburn is absolutely right. The only reason this woman is speaking at all about the response is because our side is saying that President Obama should do more on the spill. However, when you question these same people on what he should specifically do, its either A. LEAD, B. Take over from BP, or some other innocuous task which won’t plug the leak. When our side does this, I just want to hit someone over the head with a frying pan. Its easy to say lead, but unless you know what he should specifically do that he hasn’t done to plug the leak, lead is an empty word.

He called her “Governor”… I know that once you are elected you retain the title, but jeez, she quit halfway through. Shouldn’t she give up the title when that happens. Also, to all you people who say she lacks specifics, she was very specific there. Those regulators ‘doing what they do’. Doing what they do…That’s very specific.

She has to be on the payroll of the Democrats… HAS to be.

What the hell is this dumbass talking about when sheclaims “If it were George Bush – who didn’t have thesupport from big oil that Oabama does”???2000 Contributions from Big Oil:Bush: 1,959,851Gore: 143,0142004 Contributions from Big Oil:Bush: 2,674,225Kerry: 314, 110Oh, I forgot – black is white, day is night with Palin.

Considering her husband worked for BP – I really don’t want to hear her yapping.

I’m sorry but I dont see why I should care about anything this “person” says, who is she to me?The teabaggers may hang off of her every word, but I dont consider them to be worth listening to either. We need to “drill baby, drill” into their empty skulls and lobotomize them all.

  • Mather Z

Lexaburn’s right.Content doesn’t matter to her or any of them at FNC. The only question is “what can you say that’s bad about Obama?”, and nothing else matters – not logic, not consistency, not sense. And it really doesn’t matter, not as long as her words (or at least the words of her handlers) get carried unchallenged and repeated unquestioned. And her mindless teabagging drones thus get a new slogan to mindlessly chant and tearfully defend.

Bush and Cheney ARE and WERE Big Oil.
