Glenn Beck Angrily Defends BP

Here he compares the congressional hearings to “the Salem witch trials,” implying that BP, the fourth largest corporation in the world, is being wrongfully accused of crimes during an epidemic of religious zealotry and fear:

And here he compares the hearings to both “the McCarthy hearings” and “feeding Christians to the lions.” Oh, and Beck really loses his shpadoinkle in this one, too. He’s just that angry about the way Congress is treating poor little BP.

All of this from a guy who spends every show sermonizing and attempting to expose alleged “communists” and “Marxists” using flimsy evidence and doctored evidence. I suppose that makes him an expert on McCarthyism and witch trails, though.

He reminds me of a four year old boy that is really agitated because he has to pee but hasn’t that out yet.Talk radio has been cracking me up lately. Our local wingnut radio host talked for an hour last night about how Obama was going to make her replace her shower head.

    I predict that soon Beck is going to lose his position as fluff girl to the big boys at FNC. The investors don’t seem to like him very much.I also suspect that Beck knows this and that is why he has been veering so far off the rails lately.My personal opinion is that he will not be able to sustain his popularity if he loses the visual part of his act.

    Both Beck and Hannity are losing ratings, and Levin, Liddy, Savage and the others have almost disappeared. Only Rush remains… I wonder, is he cannibalizing them to maintain his $300,000,000 lifestyle and his cute blond bride?(btw, did anyone else not the irony of Rush criticizing Gore about where to find a woman who would be interested in him?)I know we are all hate Beck… he is moron, a clown and paid monkey… he isn’t the problem… it the uneducated people in this country who think financial success = righteousness or truth.We have to change ourselves before we change the country.
