Here he compares the congressional hearings to "the Salem witch trials," implying that BP, the fourth largest corporation in the world, is being wrongfully accused of crimes during an epidemic of religious zealotry and fear:
And here he compares the hearings to both "the McCarthy hearings" and "feeding Christians to the lions." Oh, and Beck really loses his shpadoinkle in this one, too. He's just that angry about the way Congress is treating poor little BP.
All of this from a guy who spends every show sermonizing and attempting to expose alleged "communists" and "Marxists" using flimsy evidence and doctored evidence. I suppose that makes him an expert on McCarthyism and witch trails, though.
