Stupid Palin Thing of the Day

This could be the biggest word salad Sarah Palin has ever delivered. It’s literally all over the place. She explains how she, as governor, personally forced Exxon to pay victims of the Valdez but then suggests that the president’s BP escrow fund is “government overreach.”

And the location of the the speech? The Texas Oil Palace.

Favorite salad quotes:

“Such oversight is in the best industry of our nation and the public and industry.”

“…I think Obama is kind of flirting with also, some government overreach. We are a rule of laws, not a rule of presidential fiats that I think President Obama would rather have sometimes, it seems.”

We are “a rule of laws?”

I stepped into some dog poo earlier today so I don’t need to watch this video. Thanks.Palin is doing what all the other right wing corporate shills are doing… shooting themselves in the foot (feet?).They have gotten away with such outrageous crap for so long, they don’t even pre-read anything anymore.

Well, now that I’m on my fifth beer on a Sunday evening after spending the day in the hot sun, she makes perfect sense. You see, laws are rules made up by the government and, and you cant flirt with the oversight industry because of some presidential fiat that, wait, what’s a fiat?

  • Nutty

say hello to our next president.I will take wagers TODAY

  • John P

Can’t wait for Keith and Rachael to rip this and her to shreds.

  • Olivia

How long before we start seeing the words “blah blah blah” mixed into those word salads? She just gets more and more incoherent and the audiences apparently just aren’t listening.

  • Allonfla

Remember that 30 minute commercial Obama ran during his campaign? Well, he can just produce another called, “Sarah Palin: In Her Own Words” and as Axelrod always says, “let the people decide”.This woman is really embarrassing.

  • RogerFallihee

I can’t stand to listen to her… but I hope that she never goes away. (I’m fully aware of the “be careful what you wish for” phenomenon.

  • Kat

    Such as. Also.

  • laddieluv

For starters, I’d like to punch this mindless sack of crap right in the face. And shove those designer glasses down her bigoted throat.I’ll leave it there. For now.

  • Gretchen

Go ahead Republicans…..keep her going. My Newsweek subscription ran out a few weeks ago, just in time because I saw the latest issue in a doctor’s office with her on the cover, titled “Saint Sarah”. I threw up a little in my mouth.

  • nicole473

Ack.Off topic, but I am sooo frustrated!I can’t see any of the videos! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe flash player THREE freaking times, and I still have the same problem. I use Firefox.Anyone else having a problem with this?

  • The Colonel

“Fiat” !!! Ooooh, Sarah Palin learned a fancy new word from her wingnut-fear-inducing-word-of-the-day toilet paper.Take that, liberal elites. ;) … And therefore, also.

  • CriticalThinker

Please, Sarah is having one of those evangelical moments – speaking in tongues,

  • CompleteLunacy

Yes, that’s right, SARAH PALIN says Obama doesn’t understand what it means to be “pro-free market” and “pro-regulations” at the same time. Hmm…Sarah, have you actually ever listened to what Barack says? BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT HE’S BEEN SAYING FOR OVER A YEAR NOW!!!…but only now does she jump on that bandwagon, because it politically is her next big move. And her supporters eat up the lies like cotton candy. Ugh.

  • nicole473

“We are a rule of laws”hahahahaha……if i weren’t so scared of her, I’d laugh a lot longer. :(

  • nicole473

“She explains how she, as governor, personally forced Exxon to pay victims of the Valdez “HA! I’m sure Shannyn will have something to say about that within the next couple of days, Bob.Palin is sooo out of touch.

I’m liking the screechy, desperate tone she has lately. She knows her act is getting old. She should relax and remember: the world won’t end if she mixes a little vinegar with the crude oil on that word salad.

  • Jo

Classic. I love the line “I want this most exceptional country in the nation…” what a head shaker on this fine Sunday evening.

What the hell did she just say?

  • suli

How did she pass her English courses in those five colleges? Or did she just beauty-pageant-walk her way past the professors?

  • Allonfla

    glub, glub.

  • MrBrink

The ink on her hand must’ve smeared.

  • Dr. Squid

    AaaaaaaaaahhhI’m the make money magnate.

  • Big_Ben

Two things on this topic:1 – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeexpavS_8k2http://www.printfection.com/yikesShe drives me nuts!

  • Jerry Melton

The Dame of Dum strikes again! Hard to believe she could be more disjointed than Turloc but east Texas has an effect on people that way. Lets ask Rep. Gohmert why that is after he comes back in the house after putting rubbers on all the animals.

This is what happens when someone with a weak intellect and lazy disposition is given someone the talking points of someone else. The Republican handlers tell her what to say and she half listens and wings it.

  • http://muttlikeme.wordpress.com Maria Ellicott

That’s why she’s called Lady Blah Blah.

  • Ptdennis

I am trying to decide which I like better … Dame of Dum or Lady Blah Blah.

  • Anna

She was on a California college campus a day or two ago and was commenting on Ronald Reagan going to Eureka College in California…..ahem he did, but Eureka College is in Illinois, not California. She will not run for President because she will not subject herself to being interviewed openly by the media. She has to pick who will play softball with her. It would be much too much work for her. She could not even handle the pressure of being a governor.
