Erick Erickson has great ideas. Like his latest blog entry in which he proposes rebooting the Willie Horton ads:

“King Samir Shabazz Should Be 2010′s Willie Horton”

Yeah, and maybe the Republicans should do a new version of Jesse Helms’ White Hands ad, or maybe roll out some new mailers with watermelons on the White House lawn. I mean, doesn’t he know? The Willie Horton ads were notoriously racist — high water marks for the GOP’s Southern Strategy.

And yet the Republicans and teabaggers will flip their shit (see Sarah Palin’s latest screed) if anyone suggests there are racist components to their politics.

    The wingers are becoming bolder in their racism, and their attempts at creating racial division. They are hoping that the fallout sticks to Obama.

    And, btw, this doesn’t bother me nearly as much as the fact that HP allowed Ingraham to spew her garbage on their site yesterday. And then all negative comments were deleted or never published to begin with.Ingraham’s post was blatantly racist.
