I say let em go (/s)Most of the parts of the country that listen to Limbaugh receive more money in Federal spending than they create in Federal taxes. Letting them go would actually reduce the deficit!

This man is a furuncle! Perhaps he should take his latest bride for hire and move to Costa Rica. When he tires of her he can go back on the prowl for young boys who are his real desire.

It’s funny listening to a middle-aged woman say she’s ready for a civil war.Sure you are, Granny.”Long live the Confederacy!”Right after the early-bird special and a nap.

What’s the difference between the Hindenberg and Rush Limbaugh? One’s a flaming Nazi gasbag, the other’s just a blimp.

Man, I just don’t know these days… I thought things were going to really turn around after the elections in 2008, but it seems like Republicans and their corporate handlers just grab more and more control of this country and spin us into a level of anti-health, anti-logic, and pure stupid that wasn’t even seen during the Bush years. And this is going on despite a Democratic majority who has put up a decent effort, no matter what the pessimistic “Obama is just like Bush” brick throwers from the left will say.It seriously makes me want to move. Not only away from this climate (Memphis TN) that has become ungodly hot and will get hotter due to an unchecked global warming- but also out of the country that seems to be increasingly a corporate-conservative hell-hole nightmare. I’m thinking Canada. Maybe Vancouver area. Up there I won’t hear ridiculous phrases like “secession!”, “my carbon foot-print is bigger than yours!”, and my personal favorite (favourite- if I am moving to Canada) “GUVRNMANT RUNN’D HEALTH-CURRR!!!!!”…I feel like infamous crying woman at the anti-health care town hall who whined “I want my country back!”…. Beacuse I want my country back-I want it back from people like her.

Luke – I know exactly how you feel, and I think the same things all the time.

Can we use Bush’s terrorism executive orders and lock limbaugh up in Guantanamo for his terrorist threats? Forever?
Can we try a process of peaceful devolution like Scotland and Wales? I believe it was really that Fort Sumter business that compelled the Union to respond militarily. Which we should probably do again anyway just for practice.

@Luke, I’m originally from Memphis and moved away 28 years ago and never looked back. Of course, now I’m stuck in Arizona, land of the crazy and bigoted….I think The Crazy is everywhere now.

@Joesph S-you got Quebec and BC backwards. I said Vancouver, which is in BC. And Quebec’s secessionist urgings are totally different. They have always felt like an independent nation, and they are even recognized as a “nation of Quebecois within Canada.” Where our little pool of secessionists in the US are cry babies that can’t stand a black President. The same people yelling “tyrrany” and “secession” were singing a different toon when Republicans held a political majority. They were yelling “America!- love it or leave it” and ” if you criticize Bush, then you don’t stand behind the troops so you should stand in front of them (as they shoot).”So you tried to be all smart assed, but really you’re just an ass.You dickless republican.

@Luke – Apologies for not reading your first post more closely. But I sure read your last one.So when you leave’n? I’ve been to Vancouver a number of times. Great place. One thing’s for certain, however, they aren’t terribly sanguine about rednecks, so watch yourself.
