    *rimshot* But seriously, folks …It’ll be fascinating to see just how many people show up for Glenn Beck’s little ego-stroke. O’Reilly says he’ll give Beck his time slot if the rally draws 10,000 (not gonna happen), but does anyone here think the crowd will top 5,000?

    I agree with Pixie on the attendance. Unless, of course, Dick Armey is busing them in again.If I still lived there, I would go to protest the rally.Sharpton is having a rally the same day, same location. This could be interesting.

Blame the attention he gets from bloggers to MSM who has given him all this fame and fortune.Every day it SOURS me to come to my favourite page here and see Beck’s ugly mush peering out at me.Please Bob- I don’t watch Beck on Fox because he is evil,disgusting and upsetting so could you kindly think twice about foisting this evil being down our throats.P.S As we discussed last week, how’s about supporting the Dems with some Dem news.

    Hi Bob and followers. I enjoy this blog every day and the podcasts are my Sunday afternoon treat.Now I ask for your help:Does anyone know how to perform a “Beckercism”? Before this clown appeared on the scene I thought my father was an intelligent man. He has been completely brainwashed! He is headed to DC today for the big rally. He has assured me that he is leaving his 9mm at home (first time firearm owner March 2009). I asked him to please be sure his sign is spelled correctly but he quickly informed me that Beck is asking the baggers to leave their signs at home. That way, the only attendees with signs will be the “Teabagger Plants”, sent by the moonbats, you see.In Beck’s own words, this rally will be remembered 100 or 200 years from now as a turning point for America. I guess I can take pride that Dad is participating in such an historic event, huh?

    @caribbeanobserverI hear ya.But, it’s important that we be aware of and understand what kind of drivel Beck is spewing on a regular basis. If we say nothing, if we simply ignore him, will that prevent his followers from following him? Nope.But our posts might prevent someone from being sucked in, and at the least, when he or the topic is googled, we, as liberals, show up as a counterpoint.

    @ JoI’ve been trying to think of a way for months to have a “Beckervention” with my parents although a “Beckercism” might be more appropriate since Glenn is pure evil. I think there needs to be a support group for those of us with parents that have lost their minds and totally believe everything he says.

    @ NicoleHey Nic, whilst I understand fully well the pros and cons of the Beckian reports and sightings, I am fully on board with the new drive of the ‘Turn Off Fox’ people.A bit late in coming but maybe,just maybe,people have FINALLY realised, after the cabbie incident, how incitement and propaganda CAN HARM INNOCENT PEOPLE’S LIVES!
