On MSNBC this afternoon, Cenk absolutely shredded a former GOP congressman on Social Security.

    It was so pathetic how the former congressman played the “You hate the troops” card in response to Cenk’s proposal to cut waste going to military contractors.

    And so hypocritical, because that is clearly a political attack, and the former congressman accuses Cenk at one point of making a “cheap political attack.”

    One other thing I would have said, “what other federal program has a trust fund”? They sucked money out of very specific “earned income” for decades! Does the DOD have a trust fund?There was not only a “cap” on the income that was taxed but some bunch of idiots decided that investing money is more risky than going to work as a cop or taxi driver, or going into a coal mine, or many other labor intensive jobs, and now they want to steal that fucking money!There is only confusion in tea-baggers minds!A bunch of robbers supported by totally stupid inbred mother fuckers!

    Seriously? You guys liked this? Blech. All the yelling and whatnot gave me a headache, and I thought that the argument was stupid and unfair. Both sides making political points that were stupid and irrelevant. Neither side actually refuting the legitimate arguments of the other. If this constitutes political debate in the country, no wonder the American people want solutions to work like pixie dust. How are we supposed to understand any of the issues if this is the way our so-called leaders talk?QT
