I've been busy with other work for most of the afternoon, so I'm just now catching up on the developments from the attack at the Kentucky senatorial debate last night.
Tim Profitt, the man who curb stomped the MoveOn protester has now been identified as a co-ordinator for the Rand Paul campaign, and as recently as today the Paul campaign touted his support in a newspaper ad.
Nice campaign staff Mr. Paul has assembled there. When they can't defend their ass-backwards, contradictory positions, they beat up women. They're manly men.
And, of course, all of wingnuttia is predictably blaming the victim.
Here's Rush Limbaugh suggesting Lauren Valle had it coming, you know, because she's a radical activist. He also offered the ridiculous excuse that the teabaggers are fed up and refuse to "grab the ankles" and "play nice." Good one, Limbaugh. Defend an assault on a woman with a rape analogy.
And finally, I'd like to know why all of the attackers haven't been arrested.
