Sarah Palin’s Dumbstupid

Usually, SarahPalinUSAFuckYeah has one phenomenally dumbstupid error per tweet. Most recently, she’s proven herself entirely clueless about the First Amendment. But this new one about Wikileaks has at least three:

Inexplicable: I recently won in court to stop my book “America by Heart” from being leaked,but US Govt can’t stop Wikileaks’ treasonous act?

First, she didn’t stop the leaking of excerpts from her book. They were totally leaked.

Secondly:

Does she not realize that Wikileaks isn’t hosted in the United States, and Julian Assange isn’t an American citizen? It’s hard to see how the “treasonous” label applies.

Mmm-doy.

Thirdly, if she’s talking about the press publishing details in the latest dump, she needs to review the First Amendment. The part about freedom of the press.

Now, if you have the stomach for it, superimpose this dumbstupid onto a president. The damage would be immense.

    Part of me would want to move to Canada if she became president.But the part of me that slows down at accidents scenes would want to stay and watch the train wreck unfold.

Why the hell does anyone give a crap what this mindless, puppet has to say about anything? I went to HP earlier and one of their big headlines was this Palin attack on Obama. For god sakes, this woman doesn’t even hold elected office anymore. She quit her job! But that doesn’t stop the media from continuing to prop up this dingle-berry by covering, as if it were something significant, her every idiotic utterance. What a freak show we live in.

    Well said Bob…you provided the facts…for any thinking person, that should be what in necessary.As for Sarah Palin…facts don’t matter apparently. That there is a ‘following’ for her speaks volumes about where the U.S. of A. is at.Very frightening indeed!

    But it’s all about the show. She can say these things and her fans/base will lap it up and it gets covered, posted, commented on. Like it or not, what she says gets out to the general public. There is not the same level access in any response the points out how idiotic, baseless, false equivilent, untethered to reality those statements are.Someone should ask her why in her shock and outrage, she gets a book plug in. That’s all that was. With proper puncuation!

The scale of her masturbatory ignorance and her ethical narrowness set against her folksy/sexy soft shoe really is something to behold (or avoid like Gonorrhea). However, I would hazard a guess that the denizens of the Weimar Republic, the pinnacle of western civilization at the time, would have greeted warnings about the rise of Nazi movement with incredulous amusement as well. Would it have been difficult, even as late as 1932, to convince the average Deutschlander that they were about to embark upon a 12 year crusade to recreate a geographically expanded faux historical epoch of Aryan dominance devoid of Jews, The Polish, homosexuals, the mentally ill and the retarded? You betcha!The historical record is unavoidable. Be it in Germany, Cambodia, Serbia, or Rwanda: when serendipity pairs up desperate people with a charismatic figure singing a happy tune, a new possibilities horizon is created. Sarah Palin may not be that that figure herself, but her candidacy could represent a rock rolling downhill in such a way that is unstoppable given the desperation imbued by the inexorably deteriorating straits of our economy, the willful ignorance and proud bigotry of a sufficient number of motivated Americans and the complete abdication of fealty to reality by half our governing elite.The Empire will not stave off this menace. To do so would deny its essential nature: to support the status quo and existing elites at any cost to the wider world. Empire will accelerate the evolution of Tea Party Operation Hate-n-Fear. We wrap ourselves in a warm blanket of American exceptionalism and assure ourselves we are not witnessing the nascence of newfangled fascism at our peril.

    I can’t believe anyone is even remotely afraid of a Palin presidency- her own party will never let her get very far. Anyway, why would she cut off the millions flowing her way? I say keep her in the spotlight- every time she opens her mouth she loses more supporters. Elections aren’t like DWTS-you can’t get your prayer circle to vote 50 times each as they did for the clutzy slut. Call me an optimist but I see a field of repubs that are going to tear each other to shreds in the primary with the winner(?) so mired in negativity, Obama will be like Cuomo in NY- didn’t even have to campaign-just cruise to victory.

    But if the UN weren’t around, and the US Govt spent all of our taxes on missiles, and we could unilaterally bomb any country we wanted, kill anyone we wanted…then the US Gov could EASILY stop wikileaks. Easy. And that, of course, is exactly what Palin wants.
