In an apparent double standard, many networks and some websites have declined the company's ads; a few will air them during the daytime, and others only after midnight. This is one of many reasons why legislation like the Lilly Ledbetter Act should never be diminished as a major legislative achievement. White men rule the planet, and while there have been advancements in equality, historians of the future will still look upon us with shame and disgust.
