Back in July of 2007, Congress passed a bill called the Improving America's Security Act of 2007, which implemented more of the recommendations from the 9/11 Commission. One the provisions included $250 million for airport security.
Eight Republican Senators, however, voted against passage, including Sens. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.), Tom Coburn (R-Okl.) Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) Elizabeth Dole (R-N.C.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), James Inhofe (R-Okl.) and Jon Kyl (R-Ari.).
Jim DeMint is really becoming a ring leader, isn't he? Since they're raising money on terrorism, and it's good for their poll numbers, are you thinking what I'm thinking? Maybe they're not as interested in smoking out evildoers as they claim to be.
