The Nelson-Landrieu-Lieberman band of six have forced a negative ending to a mostly positive week for healthcare reform. So the president stepped out and spoke briefly about not delaying reform and getting the job done.
The president is clearly a more rational man than I am because I would've taken the opportunity to tear into the Nelson-Landrieu-Lieberman crowd and how they're some of the biggest recipients of corporate healthcare cash.
It bears repeating that the president has the opportunity here to tackle two issues in one stroke: healthcare reform and lobby reform, merely by pointing out how corporate lobbyists are dangerously close to screwing us all.
