The new CBS/NYT poll on the public option:
Just look at the independent number. 73 percent support for the public option! Comparable with the overall number. You know what's less popular than the public option? Baseball and football.
So why aren't politicians on both sides embracing the public option rather than trying to kill it?
Oh yeah, I forgot.
They've been bribed and bought-off by the health insurance lobby. There's seriously no other conclusion. Listening to remarks from members of Congress, the talk radio maniacs or the cable news people, you'd think the public option was more dangerous and controversial than late-term abortions.
