Univision has announced that it will drop its simulcast of the Miss USA Pageant following Donald Trump's recent remarks on Mexican immigrants, probably out of shear horror and embarrassment.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump (Ha!) said today that he will sue Univision for dropping his pageant.
He ranted to Fox News’ Gretchen Carlson today about how he likes Mexico but stands by his criticisms of immigrants.
Regarding Univision, he told Carslon, “I have a signed contract, they can’t do this. Trump said they called to apologize to him, but really the goal is “they want me to stop telling the facts.”
What facts does Unvision want to prevent Trump from sharing?
During his presidential campaign announcement, Trump referred to Mexican immigrants as "rapists."
"They're bringing drugs," he said. "They're bringing crime. They're rapists."
