How surreal and ironic is the latest news from AP that Al-Qaeda groups want McSmearhead to become the next president? The rest of the BBQ-pit has joined the McSleazemachine in spending the last month desperately trying to get people to give a shit about William Ayers. Their misguided mission failed, because a lot of people know that Ayers is a Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois and has not participated in terrorism for FORTY YEARS, and those that don't know that know that "William Ayers" doesn't sound like the kind of guy who's hiding in a cave in Afghanistan.
In other words, the BBQ-McCraptastic team have been sweating their faces off trying to get us to believe that one candidate is somehow SUPPORTED BY TERRORISTS.
And so I find it pretty damn hilarious and simultaneously awful that it is, in fact, the OTHER candidate who is supported by terrorists. Actual terrorists, currently working hard at the job of terrorism, specifically aimed at the USA.

Al-Qaida supporters suggested in a Web site message this week they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the U.S. as a way to usher in a McCain presidency.
The message, posted Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah Web site, said if al-Qaida wants to exhaust the United States militarily and economically, "impetuous" Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain is the better choice because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier," the message said. "Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush."
By the way, it should be pretty obvious that this mindset -- elect the guy who will drain the US economy and wear out the military -- was in play in 2000 and certainly in 2004, and damned if George W. Bush didn't work like gangbusters for Al-Qaeda! See, Al-Qaeda understands that electing McBushist really is just more of the same. Why can't somewhere between 39 and 43 percent of Americans get this?
