In fact, Alaskans like the very unpopular Congress and the very Democratic Hillary Clinton more:
Fifty percent said they have a higher opinion of Congress, while 34 percent said they have a higher opinion of Palin.
The vast majority of voters there, 78 percent, said they do not want Palin to run for president in 2016. If she did and were pitted against Hillary Clinton in the general election, PPP showed that the former secretary of state would carry the state by a comfortable margin of 16 points.
So maybe it’s true. Maybe Palin will finally fade into the background.
Dare to dream.
