Benghazi

Another Clinton Email Lawsuit Thrown Out of Court

Whether intentional or not, it certainly appears that Judge James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has a strong sense of humor.

Judge Boasberg has thrown out a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch that sought to force the State Department and the FBI to take additional steps to recover the smoking gun from Hillary Clinton's private emails.

The issue is “moot,” Boasberg said, because the government has “taken a number of significant corrective steps to recover Clinton’s emails.” [...]

“Taken together, all of the recovery efforts initiated by both agencies up to the present day cannot in any way be described as a dereliction of duty.”

The pair of conservative organizations “cannot sue to force the recovery of records that they hope or imagine might exist,” added Boasberg, who was appointed by President Obama.

Ha!

As for what they "hope or imagine might exist," it's not entirely clear what that is but we can infer that they hoped or imagined -- Ha! -- they would force the government to release evidence that Hillary Clinton did Benghazi. Or something.

I cannot stop laughing.

Judicial Watch was founded by birther and leader of the failed movement to overthrow the government Larry Klayman.
