...and their obnoxious protests against, you know, affordable, portable, reliable healthcare, bear in mind the numbers from the latest CNN poll.
-77 percent of Americans support "major structural changes in the nation’s health care
system in order to make sure that all Americans have health insurance."
-74 percent of Americans support "major structural changes in the nation’s health care
system in order to reduce health care costs."
As for the current status of the public option:
Quinnipiac: 62 percent support "public option."...
Washington Post/ABC News: 54 percent support a "government-run plan." ...
Time: 56 percent favor a "government-sponsored" option....
NY Times/CBS News: 66 percent favor a "government administered" plan....
McClatchy: 52 percent say "it is necessary to create a public health insurance plan." ...
Certainly not the stratospheric 70-percentile numbers from a while back, but these numbers remain significant given the loud noises about "government-run healthcare."
