Things are slow around here, so I thought I'd plug a serious home run. HBO's new dramatic series Boardwalk Empire is outstanding on just about every level. Instantly compelling story (and era in American history: prohibition, 1920s), visually stunning, and Steve Buscemi is damn near perfect.
