John Boenhner said no to impeachment today which I’d call a smart move given recent events.
Asked about former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s comments that Obama should be impeached over the influx of child migrants illegally crossing the border, Boehner said, “I disagree.”
Then asked about members of the House GOP who have also urged for impeachment, Boehner repeated, “I disagree.”
We recently learned that House leadership can’t decide what their lawsuit against the president will be about because they aren’t sure what won’t be thrown out of court.
If they can’t decide what they’re suing him for, how could they possibly decide what to impeach him for?
I doubt anyone in the Republican party could narrow down a single, specific and credible reason, but there’s no shortage of carnival barkers calling for impeachment.
All they know is the president is guilty of an offense which is to be determined later. He’s presidenting-while-black.
