Cops like Follmer seem to forget what the phrase “To Serve And Protect” means.

Oh it will register…it will register in how he treats the next one of those that crosses his path (on or off duty).
I’ve know too many Follmer’s to expect anything less than a bad reaction to being talked down to by a articulate African American male that makes more money than he does.

Follmer is a great example of the type of police officer working under the theory that municipal policing is only about keeping certain social-economic groups under “control” and in their place while protecting the property of dominant group. The fact that someone who thinks the job of the police is to order citizens around and the cops should be immune from criticism being made head of the union says a lot about the state of Cleveland’s force.

I doubt it will even register on Follmer.

Well, that does seem to be what they’re aiming for.

I keep seeing that given as the timing. Watching the tape I don’t see how they showed even that much hesitation. “Was shot instantly” seems more accurate to me.
