Flailing Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker appeared on Meet the Press yesterday where he was asked about the possibility of building a wall on our northern border with Canada in addition to a wall on our southern border with Mexico.
According to Walker, the opinion of a few nutjobs who've attended his town hall meetings makes this a legitimate issue.
"They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago. So that is a legitimate issue for us to look at," Walker told Todd.
If every issue raised at Republican town hall meetings is legitimate, I anxiously await an investigation into the president's secret plot to nuke South Carolina or the secret plot to invade Texas by tunneling under local Wal-Marts.
It's not clear how we would pay for the construction of walls on our southern and northern borders, but I assume it would involve tax cuts.
Maybe the walls will pay for themselves after border towns greet us as liberators.
