It's Harriet Miers, current White House counsel. Think Progress reminds us of this quote from David Frum:
In the White House that hero worshipped the president, Miers was distinguished by the intensity of her zeal: She once told me that the president was the most brilliant man she had ever met.
"Most brilliant man she had ever met"????? What Frum doesn't say is that Uncle Rico from "Napoleon Dynamite" is her number two.
Or maybe she said that to Frum on "opposite day". You know, one of those let-your-hair-down theme days at the White House. The same day that gave us, "Brownie, you're doing a heckuva job!"
