Here's some conventional wisdom to think about today... It's okay -- in fact, encouraged by the corporate media -- that Senator McCain could be leaning towards a running mate who is more conservative than he is. Yet it's unheard of that Senator Obama consider a running mate that's more liberal. In other words, both VP selections need to be more conservative. Why is the Republican far-right base more acceptable than the Democratic progressive base?
(I still strongly believe that Senator Obama needs to pick a running mate who's more liberal.)
