House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) called on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to release his tax returns and medical records this morning.
I appreciate that and I certainly agree that Trump should release his records to the public just as Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton has done, but Chaffetz was a little more colorful than I would prefer.
“If you're going to run and try to become the president of the United States, you're going to have to open up your kimono and show everything, your tax returns, your medical records,” the Utah lawmaker said to CNN.
This feels like a line Chaffetz has used before but in entirely different context.
