Education reform is a favorite topic of mine and it's a topic which everyone seems to have an opinion on. Personally, I feel very strongly that our current education system is fundamentally flawed. A system which was designed for the post-war world of the 1950s, and one that cannot possibly keep pace in a world filled with Global Trade and Google. A system that, in a digital world filled with information and culture, stifles creativity and diminishes our mental capacity.
It's unlikely that major reforms will occur anytime soon, but it's nice to know that some of the worlds best and brightest minds are discussing the problem and looking for solutions. Sir Ken Robinson, a frequent guest at TED, presents.
