On September 2 and September 3, MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News each dedicated more on-air time -- significantly more in most cases -- to official Republican convention programming during the most-watched portions of their coverage than each channel dedicated to official convention programming during the same times on comparable nights of the Democratic National Convention.
Not a shocker from our so-called 'liberal' media. Also, on Friday's Thom Hartmann show, a caller said that some local affiliates didn't carry certain nights of the Democratic convention. I don't have hard evidence of this, but it wouldn't surprise me.
On that note, Hartmann reminded us that there are over 1,000 conservative radio stations in the United States. And there are only around 60 progressive or liberal radio stations -- with some of them are being bought up and flipped by far-right Christian operatives.
