It's ironic to me that the epic, gross hyprocrisy of the Duggars and the Religious Right could end up doing a lot of unintentional good. I can't think of many things that would discredit your movement more than this scandal will. And hardly anyone on the right has condemned the Duggars. On the contrary, they've received a lot of support from the usual suspects.
I see no reason not to directly associate transphobes with the Duggars in the future. I relish the opportunity to make that comparison myself the next time some jackass legislator proposes that we closely monitor and police transgender bathroom use.
