In other news, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he's going to spend $80 million on the midterm elections to help elect Democrats.
Meanwhile, the latest forecast from Bloomberg economists says wind and solar energy will account for nearly 50 percent of global power generation by 2050 even if it's not mandated by the government because the cost of solar is expected to drop by 71 percent while the cost of wind will drop by 58 percent. Coal will account for just 11 percent of global energy.
Finally, Trump's former fixer and henchman Michael Cohen has finally resigned from the RNC finance committee. He says it's partially because of Trump's child separation policy.
"As the son of a Polish holocaust survivor, the images and sounds of this family separation policy is heart wrenching,” Cohen wrote. “While I strongly support measures that will secure our porous borders, children should never be used as bargaining chips."
Cohen on Tuesday hired New York lawyer Guy Petrillo to represent him in a federal investigation into his business dealings.
