Did it never occur to them as legislators to invest in the country and its people as opposed to their exceedingly wealthy donor and corporate base? When children are drinking lead in their water as in Flint, there are going to be consequences and not good consequences. Do they really feel so little responsibility for their fellow citizens? For their fellow man?
Are they seriously going to bankrupt the US treasury and spend taxpayer money on a “see through wall” so that American citizens are not “hit on the head by bags of drugs catapulted over the top”?
Of course, it’s going to be a “piece of crap”. It is what they were put there to do by powerful, privileged and wealthy interests in this country.
