In reply to Scopedog. Part of me wants that too. The issue besides the innocent going down is that I don't think those that voted for trump will have that moment of clarity when they realize they're responsible for their own undoing.

Not much, I’m afraid.

Part of me harbors the desire to see everything fall apart so that these people can truly suffer, that they can truly know what it’s like to be thrown over the fence and given the business with no lube. But then I realize that it won’t be just them, it will be everyone who will be affected–and that when things do fall apart, it is very difficult to put them back together.

And that is the problem with divorced from reality propaganda ‘news’ outlets ( see “alternative facts”) and why what they do is so damaging to the country’s health.
Economic and moral. Under the immigration policies of the Obama administration which prioritized enforcement of immigration laws but tempered by humanitarian and economic concerns, the net immigration into this country from our southern border was 0. Now, the enforcement is just mindless and cruel and self defeating in terms of any real benefit to the country or our alleged values. And this has been brought to you by the Whipped Up Fears division of the Pravda of the GOP, Fixed ‘news’.
Because immigrants from the south do what immigrants have done in this country forever. Vote for opportunity as opposed to long held vested interests.
Vote to keep the country innovative and humane.
