I just watched his economic address on the cable, and it was a mess. He sounded drowsy and the speech was loaded with more prompter gaffes than usual. It also didn't help that there was a baby making loud noises throughout. And then, when McCain was talking about Senator Obama's healthcare plan, he totally hulked out. Shouting angry.
UPDATE: Palin is speaking how (her sibilant "s" sounds are like forks on a chalkboard), and the crowd is chanting, "Use your brain! Vote McCain!" And there you go. Rove politics. A pack of ignorant hooples -- listening to a speech loaded with lies and simplifications -- chanting about using one's brain.
UPDATE THE SECOND: Following up on "use your brain," Palin just said, "More bigger government." More bigger. Brains!
