“Now, I’m sure Mitch McConnell didn’t mean it exactly this way, but he appears to have conceded that the only way to restore fiscal sanity is to return at least partial control of the government to Democrats.”

Because, when the Democrats again clean up the mess the Republicans made, the Republicans will bitch and whine about what the Democrats are doing.

McConnell did go on to say how the Republicans need that political cover. To admit that the Republicans know what needs to be done, won’t do it themselves, need the Democrats to do it, so they can claim the blame falls on the Dems.

It’s the standard cycle. And people who call themselves progressive fall for it every time. Republicans attack on the weakest grounds and “liberal” media picks it up for the ratings. Then “progressives” bail because they perceive their darling isn’t pure enough any more.

She didn't make this bullshit part of her political identity, right wing assholes on the radio did and now she's taking shit for rightly debunking it and the fucking media just reports it as nothing more than her problem. I’ve said it before, but..”it’s torches and pitchforks time!!” A reasonable society takes care of the elderly, and social security is paid into by workers..when will we wake the f up to these robber barons? Sorry to abruptly change topics, but do you notice how Elizabeth Warren can’t do any right? First they accuse her of saying she’s Native American, which by the way she never did..she said her relatives told stories that they had “some” ancestry through distant relatives. Then, she actually releases evidence, and first Rump just says it’s fake, and the Native Americans diss her too! She’s getting the “Full Hillary.”
