Alexei Zhuravlev, deputy of the Russian Duma, is the proponent of a new bill that would disqualify gay parents from maintaining custody of their children. In a new interview, in which he compared Europe to Sodom and Gomorrah, Zhuravlev says that a single mother who’s discovered to be gay should have her children taken away from her because they’d be better off in an orphanage.
