The leader of the Republican Party thinks the president is orchestrating a conspiracy to finance -- get this -- reparations for African Americans.
"The [economic] deterioration reflects lower tax revenues and higher costs for bank failures, unemployment benefits and food stamps. But in the Oval Office of the White House none of this is a problem. This is the objective. The objective is unemployment. The objective is more food stamp benefits. The objective is more unemployment benefits. The objective is an expanding welfare state. And the objective is to take the nation's wealth and return to it to the nation's quote, 'rightful owners.' Think reparations. Think forced reparations here if you want to understand what actually is going on."
This is the de facto leader of the Republican Party. This is the guy who's calling the shots for everyone from Dick Cheney to congressional Republicans.
In short: President Obama is destroying the economy in order to give free money to blacks.
Any decent history book will tell you that racist ideas like this gave us Jim Crow laws. In my book, I wrote about a scene from Birth of a Nation in which black soldiers are using bayonets to shove white voters out of a line in order to stack an election in favor of black politicians. Only the Ku Klux Klan (and eventually Jim Crow) would save the day for white America by thwarting the black conspiracy.
This is Limbaugh's version of White Hands -- but on a much larger scale.
