I hope Palin sends Halperin -- ostensibly a member of the "lamestream media" -- a thank you note for his glowing love letter.

...Palin's video proves that she is savvy and sophisticated enough to harness her star power for political effect, shrugging off the cartoonish taint that has clung to her since she and McCain lost.
Her "cartoonish taint" notwithstanding, Halperin is basically announcing that Palin is no longer cartoonish and ought to be taken seriously. Not just her prospects (I take seriously her chances for the GOP nomination), but Halperin, here, is saying that she should be taken seriously as a politician.
Incidentally... Has anyone figured out what Halperin adds to the proceedings on Morning Joe every day? So far, he seems to just sit there with the doughy look on his face all morning.
