Mitt Romney created more jobs with his new 12,000 square foot home project than President Obama has in three years of being in office!
At least, that's what one truly passionate fan of Romney's believes.
GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney opened his Florida headquarters in Tampa this morning. After the event, one Romney supporter referenced the former Massachusetts governor’s project to quadruple the total size of his California mansion. “I wanna tell you this,” the supporter quipped. “You created more jobs with your house than Barack Obama has in the last three and a half years. … I support you all the way.”
I think you would be hard pressed to find a more clear example of what a "low information voter" looks like. Or at the very least, what a Fox News viewer looks like.
The stimulus program saved or created as many as three million jobs, and up until this summer when Republican obstruction swung into full-gear, we had a year straight of private sector job growth. More jobs were created during President Obama's first two years in office than were created during eight years of President Bush.
It hasn't been enough to keep up with the scores of unemployed created by the housing crash and the still-Bushed economy however, but to claim zero jobs have been created under this president is simply inaccurate.
