Mike Allen from the Politico just said on Morning Joe about the $700 billion TARP:
"Remember, we were all gonna fall off a cliff if this didn't pass and it's made no difference at all."
How the hell does he know? Economists keep saying that the economy would've experienced a collapse far, far worse than actually happened withoutout the passage of TARP. Look, no-one loves that it needed to happen, but how can anyone deny that it didn't sandbag a much larger disaster?
