In other news, the Wisconsin Supreme Court overruled Dane County Judge Maryann Sumi today with a 4-3 conservative majority giving Governor Scott Walker's union-busting bill the go-ahead. The conservative majority of the court holds the opinion that committees are not subject to the Open Meetings Law which was violated to pass the bill.
If the legislature is not subject to the law, who is? Can we now expect cries of judicial activism and "legislating from the bench" from the Right? No?
Speaking of Super 8 -- I just returned home from seeing it. I approve.
