Unemployment rates increased in 27 out of 32 of the state's largest cities. Racine had the highest unemployment rate at 7.6 percent, up from 7.4 percent in May. Milwaukee was the second highest at 7.4 percent, up from 6.9 percent the month before.
Unemployment rates went up in 51 of 72 counties.
The budget Scott Walker just signed into law will almost certainly make things worse.
