According to the latest SUSA numbers.
Virginia
Obama - 51
McCain - 45
Even more fascinating are the internals showing Senator Obama ahead everywhere except the Shenandoah west.
Shenandoah - McCain 54, Obama 40
Northeast - Obama 59, McCain 38
Southeast - Obama 53, McCain 43
Central - Obama 49, McCain 45
And finally, remember that SUSA was one of the most accurate of the pollsters during the primaries. So it would surprise me if this turned out to be an outlier.
ADDING: I've been mulling this over for several weeks now and I strongly believe that Virginia will be a solid bellwether state on election night. If Virginia is decisively called for Obama right after the polls close (relatively early in the night with Virginia on the east coast and all), Obama will win the election. If Virginia is too close to call or goes for McCain, all isn't lost -- but it'll be a long night for us.
