Continuing Cole's rant, the Bush Doctrine is about preemptive war -- invading another country before we've actually been attacked.
Nowhere in the president's address this morning did he say that he supports preemption and he's never suggested this EVER. On the other hand, like all presidents, he said that he has the right to unilaterally defend America. Since when did George W. Bush invent that?
