And David Brooks lives in a fantasy world. For example:
President Obama and Paul Ryan are two of the smartest, most admirable and most genial men in Washington. It is sad, although not strange, that in today’s Washington they have never had a serious private conversation. The president has never invited Ryan over even for lunch.
Paul Ryan is genial and admirable? Horseshit. Tell us, David, why then did Ryan go on Glenn Beck and agree that progressivism is a cancer? Why has "genial" Paul Ryan appeared on Glenn Beck's show at all? His participation on that show ought to disqualify him from being a member of Congress, much less receiving an invitation to have lunch with the president.
