I only caught this in passing, but as always Lawrence O'Donnell has a very unique way of looking at controversial issues. He mentioned last night on Countdown that the Nobel Peace Prize isn't the Nobel Pacifist Prize.
There's a very fine distinction between the two, and plenty of Nobel laureats have engaged in war. Of course that doesn't excuse war, but I think in this debate about the president winning this honor, some people overlook the distinction.
Adding... I'd love to see O'Donnell get his own show. While I like Maddow and Olbermann and how they mix snark and comedy into their shows, O'Donnell is deadly serious -- he's like the Terminator. I think cable news needs a liberal T1000.
