Actually I’m a fiscally semi-conservative, socially liberal moderate who believes in rational solutions and recognizes the reality that both parties have contributed to our problems.

But don’t let reality get in the way of your toddler-like necessity declare something to be what it most definitely is not just so you can smugly satisfy yourself that your blinkered view of the world is real.

Fact is, the Democrats have fucked up. They have failed again and again to call the Republicans on their shit. They have stood meekly by, refusing to support positions that were popular and right, and have let the Republicans damage the country essentially unopposed.

When someone points out that reality it doesn’t mean they are “what’s wrong with the Democratic party” but on the contrary are (if they actually belonged to it which I don’t) the one thing right about it.

I’m not going too say “but I’m a Democrat” but I am going to call you what you are, an asshole followed by a down vote. And yes, you are what’s wrong with the Democratic Party, a leftier-than-thou twit attacking from the left with right wing talking points and too stupid to realize it.

* If, lacking any evidence for it at all and plenty for the contrary, you’re going to declare that I’m a Democrat (That would be the “insisting that your fantasy is reality” part.) then, given the inherent stupidity of your comment, I just declare you a Republican.

Perhaps if their own “supporters” didn’t spend all day, every day, bashing them things would be different.
