In other news, Congress and the White House have reportedly reached a tentative deal on a 2-year budget deal that, surprisingly, appears to be fairly good. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities has endorsed the deal with a brief rundown on the details.
Members of the Flying Monkey Caucus are railing against the deal as is the Progressive PCCC. If the far left and far right both hate it, it can't be too bad.
Meanwhile, the House has passed a 3-week extension of highway funding. This is just pathetic.
And finally, wingnut radio host Michael Savage says Republicans on the Benghazi Committee must have been secretly trying to help Hillary Clinton because she looked so good.
This would be a conspiracy (helping Hillary) within a conspiracy (the committee's existence) within another conspiracy (Hillary did Benghazi, or something).
