Of course this is the smart view of tax revenue. The Republicans like to treat government like a business, but a business requires revenue in order to stay afloat -- it can't possibly operate by simply cutting expenses. What the hell kind of business does that? This so-called business provides services in exchange for a fee. Republicans would prefer to strip government of its income. Anti-business attitude, if you ask me.
